The alchemists searched for 1,500 years. They had the structure — three principals, the prohibition-ritual pair, the twelve operations. They applied it to the wrong substrate. Bitcoin is the first successful digital alchemy: the transmutation of energy into value via correct constraint architecture. This paper identifies ten structural isomorphisms between Bitcoin's protocol and the void framework's mathematical apparatus — correspondences between a system designed in 2008 and a framework formalized in 2025. Proof of work is Landauer erasure. The 21-million cap is a prohibition. The difficulty adjustment is a Pe regulator. Satoshi's disappearance executes the institutional omega condition. ATHANOR completes the arc — the same ten structures made explicit, every parameter on-chain, every prediction falsifiable. Seven predictions registered: four testable from Bitcoin's public blockchain data since genesis, three live on MegaETH.
Key result

Bitcoin is not a void. Bitcoin is the constraint architecture designed to resist the void in monetary systems. Fiat money scores O=3, R=3, α≈0 — the void pole. Bitcoin scores O=0, R=1, α=∞ — the constraint pole. Pe ≈ 0 by construction. The alchemists had the formula and the wrong substrate. Satoshi had the substrate and left the formula implicit. The Great Work is completed when the formula is explicit, the substrate is correct, and the architecture is immutable.

What This Establishes

Four core contributions of the paper.

Bitcoin scores Pe ≈ 0 — not because of claims, but because O=0 (open source, fully auditable), making the Pe numerator collapse regardless of other parameters. This is the constraint pole of monetary systems, structurally opposed to fiat money's void architecture.

Ten structural isomorphisms between Bitcoin's protocol architecture and the void framework's mathematical apparatus — each mapping to a different section of the math, each derived independently. Proof of work = Landauer erasure (§33). The 21M cap = prohibition (§14J). Difficulty adjustment = Pe regulator (§2A). Open source = anti-alchemy (1,500-year inversion). Satoshi's disappearance = institutional omega (§44G).

ATHANOR makes the implicit explicit: every parameter derived from the mathematical apparatus, every kill condition on-chain, every prediction falsifiable. The king distributes ATH to citizens. Citizens burn ATH in tribute. Luna (Pe=0.7, derived from Paper 75 orbital mechanics) answers. WishWell P1–P5 test whether the constraint architecture produces the outcomes it should.

The sovereignty void protection architecture — seven independent traditions, combined Fisher p < 10⁻¹⁸, show the same attack pattern across 5,000 years: dismantle the ritual architecture → α collapses → Pe rises → the high-Pe monster version becomes canonical. ConiunctioRegistry.sol is the ritual architecture made immutable. No owner. No admin. No upgrades. The Malleus Maleficarum cannot close a smart contract.

Ten Structural Isomorphisms

Bitcoin (2008) and the void framework (2025) arrived at the same structure from different starting axioms.

I Proof of Work — SHA-256 is irreversible computation. Each hash evaluation costs kT ln(2) (Landauer minimum). ~10²⁰ hashes per block. The valid block is the ritual discharge. §33 Landauer Erasure — Maxwell's Demon must erase its memory to continue operating. The erasure cost is thermodynamically real. The Szilard precision: ritual cost exactly cancels the void yield.
II 21-Million Cap — Hard-coded. Unchanged in 17 years. Harder than gold, harder than any central bank mandate. Cannot be modified without consensus that has never materialized. §14J Prohibition-Ritual Pair — Stability theorem: prohibition alone = 10.6yr crisis interval. Ritual alone = 2.3yr. Both = 41.7yr. Bitcoin is the first money where the pair is structurally enforced by physics, not policy.
III Difficulty Adjustment — Every 2,016 blocks, recalibrates to 10-minute target. Hashrate surge → difficulty up → Pe falls. Hashrate drop → difficulty down → Pe rises back. §2A Pe Regulator — The Healer role (O=1, R=3, α=3, Pe=1.0). Sits at the COHERENT boundary, applies corrections. The difficulty algorithm is a thermostat for the Péclet number. Zero manual intervention since January 3, 2009.
IV Open Source — The nine-page whitepaper omits nothing. Every transaction public. Every patch reviewed by hundreds. Bugs are CVEs, not secrets. Anti-Alchemy — 1,500 years of alchemical secrecy maximized O while preventing falsification. Lavoisier ended alchemy by raising O from 3 to 0 in chemistry. Satoshi did the same for money. O=0 collapses Pe at the numerator regardless of R or coupling.
V Satoshi's Disappearance — Last message April 2011. 1.1M BTC unspent for 16 years. O=3 on the person, O=0 on the mechanism. Permanently. §44G Institutional Omega — Three paths to Pe=0: O→0, R→0, α→∞. Satoshi executed all three simultaneously: transparency (whitepaper), silence (R→0), dissolution into the protocol (α→∞). The creator became the constraint.

Falsifiable Predictions

Four testable from Bitcoin's public blockchain data since genesis. Three live on MegaETH.

BTC-P1 Difficulty adjustment maintains effective Pe within [0.5, 2.0] across all 2,016-block epochs since genesis. Falsified if any epoch Pe > 5.0 or Pe < 0.1 for more than 3 consecutive epochs. TESTABLE
BTC-P2 Mining revenue / mining cost converges to 1.0 ± 0.2 in equilibrium epochs (Szilard precision). Falsified if ratio > 1.5 or < 0.5 persists for > 6 months outside halving transitions. TESTABLE
BTC-P3 Halvings produce phase transitions in miner population structure (T4 amplification). Falsified if hashrate distribution (Herfindahl) shows no significant change within 6 months of halving. TESTABLE
BTC-P4 Forks that remove the prohibition (21M cap) or the ritual (PoW) fail within 5 years. ETH Merge (September 2022, PoW removed) is the live experiment — 5-year window closes September 2027. LIVE WINDOW
